Upper assembly comes completely head spaced and test fired. Ready to drop onto a complete lower receiver.
Other selections are available for upper, bolt and carrier, charging handle, gas tube, handguards, flash hiders, and gas blocks. Barrel customizations are also available. Please choose from the options listed

NOTE: F-Marked Front Sight Base is not compatible with an A2 Upper due to height compatibility, therefore if you choose an A2 Upper and want a standard front sight base you need to choose the Standard A2 Front Sight Base.

i ordered this upper with the YHM lo-pro gas block and heavy barrel and i slapped a JP enterprises muzzlebreak and a TROY industries 13.8" MRF rail on it and it looks so clean. the receiver is a beautiful fit to my custom painted lauer custom lower. i WILL buy many uppers and rifle kits from DEL-TON in the future. i am very impressed with everything about this company.  i wish the would get more gun magazine "centerfold" articles.

Well, This was my 1st Ar-15 build. I purchased a Del-Ton Lower and it made sense to look at the uppers they offered. The price was right where my budget needed it to be so I purchased the 20" custom with YHM Diamond free float quad rail. When it finally arrived i was extremely impressed. Fit with my lower is very good. After about 100 rd break in period where i cleaned the barrel after every 10 rnds it functioned flawlessly. Some cheaper lower powered ammo caused it to short stroke and it didn't feed reliably. After switching ammo it functioned without issues. Accuracy is impressive. I am using XM193 5.56 ammo and can easy shoot 2" 10rd groups. I will buy from Del-Ton again!

I recently purchased a custom upper and have to admit that it makes my rifle superior to any factory equivalent on the market. I am more than satisfied with my new investment, and if you have DEL-TON create a custom upper for you, you will share the same feelings.~DJH
