This rifle has a 16" heavy barrel with 1x9 twist, Mil-Spec M4 stock, CAR handguards with single heat shields, and A2 flash hider. The rifle also comes with 1 x 30rd magazine and a CA approved gun lock.
Ships with a Chamber Safety Tool in the chamber, showing clearly the weapon is unloaded.
 
This rifle is not available in CA, HI, NY, NJ, MD, & MA due to local state guns laws.

I purchased this AR-15 model 4 months ago. Having never owned, handled or fired one, I didn't find it necessary to buy a rifle made by those 'other guys', which could cost hundreds more. Since I have no basis for comparison, all I can really say about my Del-Ton is that I Love It! I have run several types of ammo through it so far, without a hitch, approximately 1200 rnds to date. With a cheap scope installed, it keeps nice tight groupings at 100 yds. Bravo Del- Ton!

Hubby sold his other brand AR and stole my DTI 16" Carbine so I just ordered the kit to build myself another one.  This one will have more bells and whistles.

Fantastic rifle June 8, 2011

Purchased this in NY, modified to be post-ban, and with Magpul MOE gear. Put 140 rounds through it, without a single malfunction, and well within an MOA and a half. Very satisfied with the build quality also; seems even more solidly built than my issued Colt M4. Good job Del-Ton!

I purchase my carbine approx. a year ago.  It has performed flawlessly with FMJ and ballistic tips.  It would not feed hollow points.  However, after close examination I found a small burr on both feed ramps.  I lightly filed them with my armorer files and then polished it with my dremel.  It works great!!!  I would highly recommend this product.  I intend to purchase a new upper soon.  It will be a Del-Ton.  Kudos from me  Master Sargent, retired.

bought my dti 16'' flat top carbine just before christmas, wife said ok.Drove her nuts 4 two weeks looking 4 the right bang 4 the buck! Got mine pre-assembled WITH A PROPERLY STAKED b.c. from factory.Have run appr. 300 wal-mart rounds(fed or rem u.m.c)through it with out so much as a hiccup.Seems to have every perk of guns 2-300$$ more.Put mag-pull M-bus sight and eotech 512 on it.They line up perfect! No need 4 risers.Recently bought spare parts for it.Complete bolt,fireing pin,cam bolt,fireing pin retaining pins and buffer detent w/sping.Have not needed them but even 2,000$$ ar's break! My boys would be peeved if we had to call it a day at the range cause one of these parts failed.Have part, can fix right there.Picked up a few mag-pul ammo clips.Fit into gun like a glove!Remember to clean and lube gun regularly(every2-300 rnds.)properly!and this rifle should operate very nicely.I am very pleased with this gun and will do buisness w/ delton in future!
