This rifle has a 16" heavy barrel with 1x9 twist, A2 buttstock, and CAR handguards with single heat shields. The barrel has a crowned end, it is not threaded and there is no bayonet lug. The rifle also comes with 1 x 10rd magazine and a CA approved gun lock.  Ships with a Chamber Safety Tool in the chamber, showing clearly the weapon is unloaded.

I'm very pleased with my Del-Ton. Extremely accurate, well made AR. Right out of the box  it had a better trigger than the Colts that I qualify with at work.

Nice rifle April 4, 2011

I have been actively looking for a good AR15. I wandered into a local gun store this weekend and found the Del-Ton next to some other brands. Everyone of the AR's were identical, except in price. The Del-Ton was $300 less than the cheapest competing brand. Needless to say, I purchased it, took it to the the range and it performed flawlessly. Admittedly, I only put 50 rounds through it initially, however it went "bang" every time I pulled the trigger, and was accurate with my iron sights. I would (and will) highly recommend Del-Ton if you're considering an AR purchase. $300 buys a lot of ammo or accessories!

picked one of these up due to ban considerations. Great carbine...very simple with nothing fancy. I have put about 500 rounds of PMC through it without a hiccup.
