The DT Sport has a 16" light weight barrel with 1x9 twist, 6 position M4 stock, CAR handguards with single heat shields, and A2 flash hider. The DT Sport comes with 1x 30rd magazine and a CA approved Gun Lock. Shipped with a Chamber Safety Tool in the chamber, clearly showing the weapon is unloaded.
 
This rifle is not available in CA, HI, NY, NJ, MD, & MA due to local state guns laws.

Great rifle/great price May 16, 2013

This is my first AR style rifle and in a few words i have to say it was a fantastic purchase.  I purchased the rifle at my local gun shop and have never turned back.  I have dressed the rifle in all Magpul gear (which fit it nicely) from fore end to trigger guard its been all done in FDE.  I have put over 1000 rounds through the rifle and have yet to have one FTF or any other issue with the rifle.  This past fall i took my first deer with the rifle at 75 yards and it was less than 5 yards before it dropped.  Props to Del-Ton for a great entry level rifle and a well built product

Great gun, real smooth operation, well made and very well built! No chromed barrel, but I take care of my stuff! Got this last month for $655.00 from West Coast Armory in Washington State. Everyone else in the area is still selling the same gun for $950.00+. They never raised their prices during the madness and they've earned a customer for life!

Excellent Value May 1, 2013

During these crazy times, I was lucky to get this as MSRP.  This is an excellent value, no jams after 600 rounds, anything from PMC X-Tac, PMC X-Tac penetrator, M193, federals, AE, Remington, it shoots everything. I did upgrade it with Magpul furniture and EoTech and it has been a great Rifle. Only thing wrong was the trigger, the disconnect/sear was out of spec, it would go select fire. I replaced it with a upgraded drop in and spring kit and it is awesome. Only thing I would want above this is a 1/8 twist chromoly or hammer forged barrel.

Overall it is a great value for the price, better than DPMS or Bushmaster of the same range.

This is my first AR-15 and I got it on Gunsamerica for a slightly marked up $829 (quite a steal in this current gun crazy climate) before shipping and transfer fees. I've put 400+ rounds through it already and it's deadly accurate without any malfunctions of any kind. For the money, it's a home run. By far the best gun in my collection and one I never hesitate to shoot. It's also my primary big gun for home defense. Great job, Del-ton!

1-3-13 I was looking for value in my first AR;  found it with the DT Sport.  Upper is tight on the lower, no play.  Pins are tight, yet takedown is easy and re-assembly quick and re-alignment was easy.  Fire control components were tight with no play.  Other new ARs I've handled were loose, upper receiver was loose on the lower receiver.  It was adequately lubricated at breakdown, but I added some to that for peace of mind.  I added the carry handle/sight for a simple setup.  Can't wait for a range run.  Will post it when I get back.

Long awaited range report, 3-9-13: Finally
DT Sport ran great, and is more accurate than I am.  I installed the Carry Handle rear sight and hit within 2"@50.  I installed a BSA scope on top of the carry handle and proceeded to run it without failure.  Only complaint I have is the adjustable stock is loose fitting.  Add the accessories you want, it's a keeper.
