Good Upper March 3, 2009 Reviewer: Tom McGinley from San Carlos, CA United States   I was suprised how nice the upper is and functioned just fine. I mounted an Aimpoint and a flip up rear site - After adjusting down the front site everything works good. Great value and I would defiantely recommend this upper. Was this review helpful to you?

Great Upper Kit January 12, 2009 Reviewer: Jeff from Florence, MS   I bought this barrel assembly after I shot one which belongs to a friend of mine in Tennessee. I like the flip down front sight when I use a telescopic sight, it doesn't get in the way. The rifle shoots minute of angle groups and works flawlessly. I ordered a Wolf extractor spring for cheaper ammo. This rifle is heavier than the standard 20". The mid length gas tube softens the recoil better that the carbine length. The quality of this firearm is superb. I can hit steel plates at 300 yards with the iron sights or the Pro Point. I have been very pleased with this rifle, some of my squirrels have not. Since I first wrote this review I have changed the Pro Point out for a EOTech 552.A65 holographic weapon sight. It complements the rifle perfectly and it co-witnesses with the iron sight if they are flipped up Was this review helpful to you?

Mid-length upper October 1, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous person from Louisville, KY United States   With the "hype" now surrounding M4 profile barrels this mid-length gas system and barrel set up is not getting the consideration it deserves as a better all around alternative for anyone who doesn't need to mount a grenade launcher to their carbine. Excellent Upper! August 26, 2008 Reviewer: Mark from San Jose, CA United States   I wanted a new upper for my first AR-15 build (20" bull) and decided to give this Del-Ton upper a try. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Very nice quality and no problems after a couple of hundred rounds. I added a YHM fold-down rear sight and will eventually add an Eotech to it. Good Value May 17, 2008 Reviewer: Dan from South Carolina   Ordered on Monday, shooting it on Friday. Have to give it 5 stars, cant find anything to complain about in either service, assembly, quality, or operation. Added a Yankee Hill rear flip down iron, put my EOTech 512 on it and put 100rds through it at 100 yds. Accuracy was very good with both iron and Holo sights considering I used Wolf, and PRVI Partizan ammo, which frankly I have never found to be really accurate.  Operation was flawless. What I really like is the ability to flip up the Iron and shoot it looking through the EOTech. I don't feel you can go wrong with this assembly. Was this review helpful to you?
