I've been using the MIAD grip for nearly two years. I had it on a PD rifle and have since mounted it on my personal rifle. The ability to replace the front and back-strap assemblies offer a wide range of adjustments and are easy to do. That may be my only issue, it's too easy. Make sure you use a roll pin in the hole provided for the back-strap. The locking notch at the bottom doesn't always mate up well and without the pin your back-strap could slide down at the worst moment.
Other than that one caution, this is an extremely comfortable grip.

I really love this grip. The insert on the bottom of the grip makes it possible to store many things for survival. The only thing that I was not really into was the attaching screw. It did not fit my lower as well as the DPMS grip screw with lockwasher. I had to stop screwing the Magpul screw in because it was so tight that I was worried I would mess up my lower. DPMS screw worked great instead. Other than that, this grip is fantastic.

It's not too different form the feel of the basic AR grip. It seems to be a sturdy plastic made of same or better quality of a standard grip. The ruff detailing allows for a good hold which is a little bit better than the diamond pattern on a standard grip.
The best part is the options to swap the front and back of the grip allowing a better fit to your hand. Slide the wider plastic end and front into place and you have a wider pistol grip.
I have the Ergo grip also and I would pick this grip over the ergo, and the ergo over the standard.
