This 5 port design has no downward facing port which helps eliminate dust signature when shooting in the prone position. The "aggressive end" is for use in hand to hand situations. This brake does not reduce the flash signature of the firearm.

Threaded 1/2"-28. Includes crush washer.

Safety Warning: Only the use of .223/5.56 ammunition should be used with this product.

I got one of these with my rifle kit that I ordered previously this year and was a great addition. I have only fired during the day but even then noticed an improvement of muzzle blast in comparison to other ARs that I have fired.
I had to take it off to put on my free float etc. and came off with little force and went back on smoothly and holds up to not coming off with just your hands or shaking loose from the vibrations from shooting.
