Dt sport August 25, 2015 Reviewer: Gary Sikes from Idalou, TX United States   I have two DTI'S 1 FOR 100YDS THE OTHER with a Nikon 223 scope. Bought 1000 rds. I shot equal amount of rounds thru both rifles.(xm193) no malfunctions. If I do buy another AR it will be a DTI.! I have 3 grandsons, pops will buy all 3 a DTI when it is time.Thanks for the quality! dt sport lite March 28, 2015 Reviewer: Robert Singleton from Cincinnati, OH United States   I purchased this weapon a few weeks ago, last Saturday I fired over 300 rounds out of it with no problems, very accurate. Very nice weapon. I recommend this weapon to all. Was this review helpful to you?

DT Sport March 28, 2015 Reviewer: from , Wichita KS   My two cents. I bought my Sport 2 years ago when the craziness started. I had always wanted an AR and was not in a real good financial position to get one but felt like I might be running out of time. I went to a local dealer, Thunder Bird Tactical, because I knew I wouldn't be leaving there with a piece of junk. I don't think I did. Although I've only now started to really use this carbine, after approximately 500 rounds I have not had a single problem and took third in a modern military match today. Yeah, I needed to brag but I really am impressed with this gun. I've been around guns for a year or two (I'm 54). I guarantee you my rig was the most, uh, cost effective, one out there today and I still finished in the money. Well, if there was any... I'm very happy with this gun. Del Ton AR 15 Sport February 8, 2015 Reviewer: Ben from Lebanon, MO United States   This gun hands down is a great gun. For the money I did some searching on the net and looking at the local gun shops. I found this gun on Impact guns .com for cheap after reading all the good reviews about the rifle I made the purchase. When the gun was shipped I removed it from  the box cleaned it and put a MBUS flip up rear sight on it. Went to the range I started with the 25 yrd target.  The gun shot straight right out of the box after a few shots I was hitting steel at 200. Make the purchase u won't be disappointed!!!! Del-tons AR's February 6, 2015 Reviewer: James Riggle from Lawrenceburg, KY United States   I purchased my first AR type at a gun show from a dealer in 2009. It was  Del-ton and it was new brand to me. I was somewhat concerned about this, but the price was right. I put a magpul flip sight on it as well as an Eotech hallogram. I was more than satisfied in the performance ofthe weapon and my add ons. I have since decked it out with lower foregrip, flip down bipod and a lazer/flashlight combo. I feel ready for  anything and I know I can count on this rifle to function as intended. Thanks Del-Ton for a great well made product. Was this review helpful to you?

DT Sport Rifle November 4, 2014 Reviewer: James campbell from Americus, GA United States   I have owned many many AR type rifle. From the 4000.00 precision guns to any other you care to mention. I still bought the DT Sport. A quality entry level rifle... yes but with every feature that the purists would want. I bought it because its lightweight, handles well, and it can be carried all day...topped with a decent red dot and MBUS and this will fill the bill. Accuracy is on par with any M4 type you see. (with a red dot) I highly recommend them and intend on getting a few more for my wife and son... Go Del Ton!!! Was this review helpful to you?

Delton DT Sport August 31, 2014 Reviewer: Robert K from Canal Fulton, OH United States   After doing some research I decided to purchase the Del-Ton DT Sport as an entry level AR-15..... being new to this platform of sporting rifle I cannot make comparisons to other brands but what I can tell you is that this rifle is well built, accurate and reliable right out of the box..... I topped it off with a BSA holographic sight and after sighting it in at the range every bullet made contact on the paper where the red dot was ...... The bottom line is that I am very happy with the purchase I made and if your looking for an AR-15 platform in a rifle... check out Del-Ton Was this review helpful to you?

My first AR-15 February 13, 2014 Reviewer: Joe from Dayton, OH United States   I'm writing this so people know what a good product This AR-15 sport really is. I started looking about five months ago, and let me tell u I looked at a lot of them. I didn't know much about AR-15. So I haven't heard of Del-Ton till I went into a gun shop in Dayton, ohio and there it was. I was close to buying a Bushmaster until I felt how soild and well build this Del-Ton was. I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money and so I bought this one for 700 bucks and I LOVE IT... I've been to the range and 5 times and never had not one problem out of it and I shot all types of ammo even steel casings and it shots like a champ. Thank u for making a good U.S.A. Del-Ton AR-15... Light, tight carbine January 5, 2014 Reviewer: George B. from Evansville, IN United States   This is a good rifle for a fella like myself, your Average Joe.  I was looking for an AR rifle for a specific purpose:  to protect my family.  As we all know from the news, bad things happen to good people.   I discovered the DT Sport after much online research and determined this would fit the bill.  Last year's gun ban panic had just begun but a Sport was coming into my LGS at a pre-panic price and I jumped on it.  I am very glad I did. After one year's ownership and several hundred rounds through it, I can report only one issue:  One steel casing of TulAmmo got stuck in the chamber. I chalk it up to the cheap ammo itself, given that it's eaten plenty of steel and brass cased. It is a joy to handle straight out of the box and that's the way I have kept it.  Simple, with only a BUIS and a Blackhawk sling.  Around a $1000 will get you a Sport, sling, BUIS, spare mags and ammo and there you go. 5 stars for the DTI Sport and my thanks to Del-Ton for a fine weapon.
