16" rifle kit comes with everything needed to complete a stripped lower receiver.
Includes fully assembled, headspaced and test fired upper receiver, lower parts kit and buttstock.
Rifle kit does not include stripped lower receiver or magazines.
 
To customize this rifle kit choose from the options available above.

NOTE: F-Marked Front Sight Base is not compatible with an A2 Upper due to height compatibility, therefore if you choose an A2 Upper and want a standard front sight base you need to choose the Standard A2 Front Sight Base.

First build, very impressed April 28, 2012

This was my first build. Took awhile, and there were a couple of hiccups with the order, but Customer Service (thanks Laura) took care of it all. I put it on a Spikes lower. Fit is tight (pivot pin is actually too tight, need to use a small plastic hammer to seperate) and the finish is great. I now have about 600 rounds through it and it shoots great and is supper smooth. It shoots anything I feed it as well. I did put Magpul furniture on it

It took a little while to arrive, but well worth the wait. I ordered the $470.00 kit and expected $470.00 worth of quality but I'd rate it as having just as much if not more than colt. My friend didn't know where I bought it or for how much and offered me $1100.00 for it. I said go to Del Ton and buy your own. Thank you Del Ton for a wonderful riffle.

All I can say is that I am impressed with what I got for the money I paid. I got the mid length kit with a heavy chrome lined barrel and phantom flash hider. The fit and finish of my kit was excellent. Had it all put together on a stag lower in less than an hour sitting in front of my computer reading the build guide. Simple as can be. I was impressed with the small things that were done already like the gas key was staked correctly, there was an o-ring already in the extractor spring, rear sights were set to 8/3 -2 just to name a few. I have a pre ban Colt H-Bar and was a U.S. Marine so I am no stranger to this type of weapon and in my opinion this is top quality for the money!!!

I have yet to assemble my kit but one thing that is astonishing is the speed of delivery. I chose the standard shipping which which was supposed to take 4-6 weeks but in just 13 days by kit arrived at my front door. Just by looking, I can tell this kit is worth the money. A must buy for the price.

I normally dont write reviews but I wanted to share my  experience mainly for those who are unsure or on the fence about Del-Ton. I ordered this rifle kit and it arrived 15 days later, I was pleasantly surprised with the fast delivery and the customer service Del-Ton provided. The upper is very well made and fits nice and snug to my spikes tactical lower with absolutely no wobble whatsoever. I've fired about 350 rounds with no problems at all...If you are thinking about getting a DTI,  I say go for it!!
