Purchased this light weight middy in 2015 and finally got around to building it this week (2022)!   It's a great shooter and loves steel case ammo.  What more could I ask for?  Love it.

i was kinda worried about this barrel before i got it. but now after shooting it and finished my build it kicks ass. good groups my friend was impressed with it as well as he does high end builds he said good choice ran perfect. would recommend and light .

I was surprisingly impressed with the preformance of this barrel. For the price, I honsetly wasn't expecting to see the tight groups I shot with the first three rounds. Don't be too alarmed when looking down the barrel before it's fired and seeing some burrs at the gas port. I was, and was about to send it back. The nice lady at Del-Ton informed me that it would clear out after about 10 rounds fired. After those initial rounds it cleaned up just fine.
