16" 1x7 Heavy Profile Barrel Only

Need a new AR barrel or just want more than you can get out of your current barrel? The Del-Ton 16-inch carbine barrel is a heavy profile that delivers superior accuracy while maintaing a tactical profile you want in an AR. The 16-inch AR 15 barrel is chrome moly vanadium lined for superior corrosion resistance even when using corrosive ammo; always clean your gun after shooting! The M4 feed ramp provides reliability under the most stressful conditions. The 1:7 twist rate is best for bullet weights of 70 grains and up. It is a six-groove button rifled barrel.

This AR 15 16-inch heavy barrel uses a .750 gas block and runs a .070 gas port. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 for your choice of breaks or a can. It is chamber as 5.56x45mm and so will handle standard .223 as well. It takes a carbine length gas system.
