Works as muzzle compensator while maintaining flash hider capabilities. This 5 port design has no downward facing port which helps eliminate dust problems when shooting in the prone position. The 5C2 keeps the aggressive front end used in hand to hand situations.

Threaded 1/2" by 28. Includes crush washer.

***Only to be used on .223 or 5.56 caliber rifles

Great muzzle device March 29, 2010

I bounced back and forth in regard to muzzle devices and am glad that I decided to stick with this one. The item is of great quality. Fit and finish are exceptional. The aggressive nature of this device lends itself to be employed as a pain compliance device and excels in that capacity. Additionally, the product does excellently when it comes to minimizing muzzle flash(none to speak of) and will not imprint in dusty conditions when firing from the prone position. The nature of the device makes follow up shots easier since it aids in keeping the muzzle on target even when double tapping. Over all, great product.
