Quality Product September 26, 2012 Reviewer: Jim Horner from Ringgold, GA United States   Received my upper within the specified 2-3 week time frame.  This upper is beautiful. The YHM flip Up front is solid.  The heavy barrel makes what little recoil a .223 has even less.  Del-Ton stuff is fantastic, this is my second Del-Ton purchase, first was a complete AR from my local gun shop.  Can't see any reason to buy more expensive products, Del-Ton is affordable and delivers excellent quality.  I'd give it a 5 star rating but 5 = perfect and nothing is perfect!  Solid 4.7-4.8 however. No trouble. April 14, 2012 Reviewer: J.T. from United States   I tried this upper with a New Frontier Armory LW-15 and it kick like a Rodeo Bull. Put almost 500 rds thru it hasn't jammed or gave me any other problems. Get you one. Period Was this review helpful to you?

Delton Upper with flip up sight August 23, 2010 Reviewer: PHILIP DEPRATO from ZACHARY, LA United States   Built a CAR type rifle. Fit was very tight and the finish closely matached my lower. Military Review May 5, 2010 Reviewer: BRANDON DONALDSON from WAVELAND, MS United States   Based on Delton's prices, I was skeptical.  Now I plan on expanding my armory solely with Delton uppers.  Quality, fit and finish are perfect.  I have had zero problems.  Finish is identical to my Bushmaster lower.  They were also very responsive in e-mail and seem to have the quickest production time of any AR company on the net.  Thanks for the quality products Delton! Money well spent March 15, 2010 Reviewer: Brent Fleming from Chillicothe, OH United States   I received my upper and was shooting that evening with zero problems! The flip up sight made for easy use of a holosight. Accuracy is good, but with more rounds through it, should improve. Thinking of buying a second one for the wife. Was this review helpful to you?

Excellent Rifle Overall November 21, 2009 Reviewer: Calvin Truong from Plano, TX United States   This upper is amazing for the price you pay. Despite having an non-chrome lined barrel, it has yet to fail me. I have put about 1000 rounds of .223 through it after purchasing it. I have also put about 2000 rounds of .22LR using a conversion kit. With iron sights, I was able to get a 1.295 MOA 5-shot group. After I free floated the barrel and added a 1-4x optic, I shot a 0.871 MOA 3-shot group. Both times were using standard Russian ammunition from a bench. I have yet to shoot match grade ammo, and don't feel like I need to. I use this rifle for 3-gun, and it has been great so far. Was this review helpful to you?

Good Upper March 3, 2009 Reviewer: Tom McGinley from San Carlos, CA United States   I was suprised how nice the upper is and functioned just fine. I mounted an Aimpoint and a flip up rear site - After adjusting down the front site everything works good. Great value and I would defiantely recommend this upper. Was this review helpful to you?

Great Upper Kit January 12, 2009 Reviewer: Jeff from Florence, MS   I bought this barrel assembly after I shot one which belongs to a friend of mine in Tennessee. I like the flip down front sight when I use a telescopic sight, it doesn't get in the way. The rifle shoots minute of angle groups and works flawlessly. I ordered a Wolf extractor spring for cheaper ammo. This rifle is heavier than the standard 20". The mid length gas tube softens the recoil better that the carbine length. The quality of this firearm is superb. I can hit steel plates at 300 yards with the iron sights or the Pro Point. I have been very pleased with this rifle, some of my squirrels have not. Since I first wrote this review I have changed the Pro Point out for a EOTech 552.A65 holographic weapon sight. It complements the rifle perfectly and it co-witnesses with the iron sight if they are flipped up Was this review helpful to you?

Mid-length upper October 1, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Louisville, KY United States   With the "hype" now surrounding M4 profile barrels this mid-length gas system and barrel set up is not getting the consideration it deserves as a better all around alternative for anyone who doesn't need to mount a grenade launcher to their carbine. Excellent Upper! August 26, 2008 Reviewer: Mark from San Jose, CA United States   I wanted a new upper for my first AR-15 build (20" bull) and decided to give this Del-Ton upper a try. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Very nice quality and no problems after a couple of hundred rounds. I added a YHM fold-down rear sight and will eventually add an Eotech to it.
