DT Sport January 14, 2013 Reviewer: Gunny03 from Murrieta, CA United States   Purchased a DT Sport in November of 2012 at a local gun shop for $689 out the door.  Awesome weapon!  After being in the market for quite some time I came across the right price point and everything you would need to get into the AR platform.  The AR performs flawlessly and fired everything that I fed it.  My first 3 shots fired with the weapon was in the bull with a tight group of 1/2 inch @ 50 yards using the iron sights.  Can't ask for anything better than that!  The barrel does heat up a bit due to it's pencil-style barrel profile, but anyone who touches the barrel after firing a weapon shouldn't be handling one in the first place.  I've got over 20 yrs. experience with the AR rifle and after making this purchase I am completely satisfied with my decission,  There are a lot of other brands to choose from, but why pay the higher price for something that you would eventually be investing more $$ into just to make it  tacti-cool.  Go with the "DT" sport, you will not regret it! DT Sport January 6, 2013 Reviewer: Daniel LaPan from saginaw, MI United States   I bought a DT sport from a local dealer for $650 last year brand new in a box it was a very sound rifle when using steel mags, but I did have issues with plastic mags they drop down in the front slightly when fired and the rifle jams I have tried magpuls, promags and some off brand plastic mags from cheaper than dirt they all do the same thing. Disapointed a little but having said that, with the steel mags  I have had no issues at all it never jammed on me yet I don't know why this happens with the plastic mags but for $650 I will live with it. I am not going to drop the cash on a drum however because I don't know if it will work? Was this review helpful to you?

Great rifle for the price!!! December 6, 2012 Reviewer: Jay B from LA   Recently purchased the Del-Ton Sport Ar-15.  It is my first Ar-15.  I love it.  Put 200 rounds thru it.  Its a great value and very fun to shoot.  I have a carry handle on mine and really like the look of it.  Del-ton did a great job on this one!!! I've shot over 200 rounds so far and it's gave me no problems what so ever. If you're looking for a very great ar-15 that's a great price, then the del-ton sport is the gun to get. The best AR-15 I have ever purchased October 25, 2012 Reviewer: Satisfied Buyer from GA, United States   I saw this rifle brand new at a pawn shop. Was a bit skeptical because the price was so low. I decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway. I immediatly took it to the range and fired over 200 rounds through it. Not a single failure to feed or failure to eject. Rifle was more accurate than my zeroed rifles. Very lightweight and reliable. I have since turned this gun into my main go to rifle. I would reccomend this rifle to anyone purchasing their first or 10th AR. Great job Del-Ton! Was this review helpful to you?

DT Sport September 24, 2012 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Conroe, TX United States   I really had my heart set on building my own M4 type rifle, I was going to order an M4 kit from Del-Ton and building it on a stripped lower.  I went to a local gun show, and found a dealer who had this.  I read some of the reviews here, the price was right, so I pulled the trigger.  Took it home, cleaned, oiled, when to the range.  Put a flip up rear sight on it and perfection. I put about 50 rounds through it, no problems.  Awesome weapon, I love it. Thank you for a quality product.  If you are thinking about one, here it is. Value, quality, can't say enough about this. quality rifle at a great price! September 21, 2012 Reviewer: SW from Hemet, CA United States   I had my mind set on another brand rifle when I set out to pick up my first AR but was persuaded by the salesman to check out the Del-Ton before I decided. to be fair, they did offer the rifle I thought I wanted as well as the Del-Ton, so he could easily have just let me buy what I came in for. glad he didn't! I love my Del-Ton sport! I've got almost 1000 rounds through it with no FTE's or FTF's!! accurate, light weight, looks awesome! for the price, I believe it's unbeatable! if you're looking at the Del-Ton sport as an option, stop looking and GET ONE! you won't be sorry! one fine rifle September 15, 2012 Reviewer: francis oliveira from lucerne valley, CA United States   Sold my Mini-14 and was looking for an ar, I built one for my Son and was never impressed with it, well I bought the sport and.... well....that was his and this one is mine and it's wonderful!!!!
