16" middy March 1, 2012 Reviewer: SlapHappyPappy from Little Meadows, PA United States   In only 2 weeks I received the kit with Magpul grip, CTR stock and MOE hand guard. This is my second AR and first kit build. With common sense I mated the kit with a Yankee Hill lower in under an hour. At the range it chewed through 150+ rounds (62gr green tips and 55gr eagle) without a hiccup. I could not be more pleased with the kit for the money spent. Can't wait to build another from Delton. BEST RIFLE EVER !!!!!! March 1, 2012 Reviewer: Carlos Vizcarra from Tampa, FL United States   this was my first rifle and first to build a rifle as well everything came nice and neat the shipping was fast came like in 2 or 3 weeks customer service was very good i bought a stag arms lower at my gun shop and put the lower together with the parts that come with the kit very easy to do and the lower fits great with the upper their was no play or wobble between them so i didnt need those rubber things iv shot this a week after i got it and super accurate and highley reliable i forgot how many rounds i put threw it but it was alot and no failure to feed no jame whats so ever gun jus kept on going i would recomend delton to anybody thats looking for their first ar or first ar build this is and awsum gun to bumpfire as well good luck ! yu wont regret this delton kit Was this review helpful to you?

Couldn't be happier! January 19, 2012 Reviewer: Adam from Grand Blanc, MI United States   I paired this kit with a Spike's Tactical lower (like most trying to build on a budget) and am pleased to the max! Good solid weight, awesome cycling and a great way to learn the AR-15 assembly. Side note: The only upgrade I did was the 1x7 chrome lined barrel. That was more than worth the investment. Just what I wanted January 5, 2012 Reviewer: Steve from Bailey, CO United States   I have had a Rock River Arms lower sitting in the safe for about a year. Ordered this kit around Thanksgiving and received it in less than 10 days. Since this was my Christmas present from the wife, I had to wait to put it together. All I can say is it was well worth the wait. Everything I needed to complete the lower was in the kit and it all went together in less than an hour. This was my first AR build and I just shot the rifle yesterday for the first time. Everything is nice and tight and it shoots fantastic. Could not be happier! Was this review helpful to you?

This kit is amazing December 10, 2011 Reviewer: Louis from Los Angeles, CA United States   I don't normally write a review on something I buy, but Del-Ton and this kit deserve it. Even before buying, I contacted their customer service with questions and received a response that same day. Each subsequent response was quick and courteous. I finally ordered my kit (which is fantastically priced for what you get) and it was delivered a little less than 2 weeks after I placed my order (more than halfway across the country I should add). I also purchased a Del-Ton lower to go with it. I finally built the rifle, took it out to the range, and it preformed flawlessly (I had one FTF due to magazine issue). This was even with cheap Wolf steel-cased ammo. If anyone is looking for a perfect AR kit for a great price, Del-Ton is the way to go hands down. Was this review helpful to you?

perfect first AR15 December 3, 2011 Reviewer: Randy from Cleveland, OH United States   I ordered on a Monday and received my kit the following Wednesday ! I could not believe it only only took nine days. It was my first ar build and it matched my spikes lower perfectly the only options i got were the Magpul moe handgaurd and stock which are great. The fit and finish on the upper is flawless and the gun ran thru its first 200 rounds flawlessly too I could Not ask for anything more Was this review helpful to you?

Best bang for the Buck October 24, 2011 Reviewer: pornelas from Visalia, CA United States   Bought this kit for my first AR-15. I had never shoot a AR-15 and had only held one at a Gun shop. Built it on a Sun Devil lower and added the chrome lined barrel. Took it to the range this weekend and very first round was a FTF, then the next to mags I had double feeds but it was a total operator error. Once I figured that I was not loading the mags correctly I shot 200 rounds without a problem. Once I sighted her in I was shooting a 16" metal target at 230 yds with iron sights! Dollar for dollar champ October 12, 2011 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Woodhaven, MI United States   Its been a over a year and ~3000 rounds since building a Del-Ton kit on a Spikes lower and it has won me over.  For reference I bought the 1:9 twist non-chromed barrel for accuracy and it has consistantly produced sub MOA groupings @100 yards.  Not as accurate or solid as my LaRue stealth but for well under half the price it isn't terribly far off either.  Over that time I have had zero FTF and zero FTE.  No complaints of any kind.  I'm impressed and have recommended this to close friends building ARs.
