I ordered my LW rifle kit on a Saturday and it was delivered the next Friday. I assembled the kit on my lower and lubed it for a range session. The finish was uniform and a near perfect match to my DPMS lower finish. All parts assembled and operated properly as expected. I purchased some Federal XM193 ammo and was able to produce 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards from a sandbag rest. The light weight barrel makes this a very handy firearm. I am completely satisfied with this kit and I would recommend Del-ton to anyone who wants a quality product. Thank you Del-ton.

Ordered just as 3-4 week wait notice went up. Delivered 3 weeks later complete. Upper nicely assembled with chrome lined barrrel, M4 ramps, and YHM accessories. All lower parts fit and functioned well in a S&W lower. Upper/ lower fit is good with little play and excellent color match. Function tested with several different loads from 50 to 68 grains, good accuracy and 100% reliability with several different brands of mags. Action was initially a little rough compared to my Armalite, but is smoothing up with use. Excellent value for money, and timely answers to e-mail questions.

I wanted to comment on the size and weight of this lightweight configuration as I am very happy with it. I find the barrel diameter and weight to be perfect, not too thin, not to thick.
Seems my 16" HBAR upper alone weighs as much as the entire lightweight rifle.
This is definitely not a pencil barrel which I was worried I would receive.
Handles great, very light.

This is a great rifle kit. I order one and it was here 5 days after i ordered it. They forgot to give me a pistol grip. (it comes in the same bag as lower parts and i got mine without), they sent me a new one as soon as i called. Built it on a Bushmaster lower. It was nice and tight. shoots great. I would have given it 5 stars but they forgot the pistol grip. I plan on buying more.

Ordered my light weight kit to put together with my DTI stripped lower. Ordered the kit on 1/15/10 and received it on 1/25/10. I've owned three Colts (2 AR-15's and a CAR-15) and built two others from parts. The quality of DTI parts is as good, if not better, than the previous AR's I've owned or built.
