16" mid-length rifle kit comes with everything needed to complete a stripped lower receiver.
Includes fully assembled, headspaced and test fired upper receiver, lower parts kit and buttstock.
Rifle kit does not include stripped lower receiver or magazines.
 
To customize this rifle kit choose from the options available above.

NOTE: F-Marked Front Sight Base is not compatible with an A2 Upper due to height compatibility, therefore if you choose an A2 Upper and want a standard front sight base you need to choose the Standard A2 Front Sight Base.

Amazing!!! May 11, 2012

I ordered a mid-lenght kit from my FLGB (Friendly Local Gun Broker)it came in after 5 weeks. Matched it up with my Del-ton lower assembly, fit and finish is spot on.  Got it out to the mountains for zeroing and some fun.  Ran through 200 rounds with one FTF (weak primer).  It ate through brass and steel casing without any issues.  Can't wait to get back out and have more fun. Thanks for a custom rifle for me to have and enjoy for many years to come. 2 thumbs up!!!! Great price for exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it.  Engraving on the lower completed the build for me after my time in the USN living in a USAF and US Army town.

I was pleased with everything about the rifle kit except for the 6 weeks wait. The parts assembled easily with the lower receiver I purchased. I shot 100 rounds with no jams. Very good quality rifle.

Well, I read the other reviews and speed did not seem to be a common theme. My order took about 3 months (not as long as some).

That being said, this price cannot be beat, and the quality of the rifle kit I received is outstanding.  The awesome sales staff at Del-Ton helped me and delt with me calling every 1-2 weeks checking on backordered parts.  The whole industry is at a snails pace right now as demand has skyrocketed for all AR-parts and accessories and supply has not gone up much.  This has left many companies with back-orders and delays, but Del-Ton kept me up to date on my order, helped me substitute parts after the order took place, and as soon as humanly possible, shipped me my kit in great condition. (MA-compliant too!)

Buy with confidence, but don't be in a hurry. Backorders happen (especially this year), and you may have to wait a bit. but the kit is great.

TL:DR- this is a quality kit with an unmatched price. Patience is a virtue. The sales staff are outstanding.

Love my Del ton April 20, 2012

I have had my Del ton mid length kit with 1x9 CL for a week now and I absolutely love it. Matched up perfect to my ATI lower. I haven't had a chance to get it to the range but I have squeeze off a few mags on my land using federal .223 with out any hiccups so far and I personally don't see it happening in the future.
I also recommend adding the YHM diamond ff to this kits. They are rock solid. Also the Magpul ACS is a perfect stock to balance this kit out.

Mid-Length, but long on quality. March 30, 2012

I've had my Del-Ton mid-length with chrome lined barrel for several months now. I put it on a cheap lower reciever (Deleware Machinery) and the fit could not be tighter. I've fired about 200rds through it with only one malfunction, that being a shell getting stuck in the chamber. I can't blame this on Del-Ton however as I was using Tula polymer coated Russian ammo and Del-Ton clearly warns against using steel cased ammo. That being said, it shoots the cheap stuff just fine, but I'm going to stay away from the polymer coated stuff from now on.
Using flip up backup sights I can easily hit milk jugs from a standing position at 100yds. The Mid-Length gas system on a 16" barrel is a vast improvement over carbine length systems. Felt recoil and muzzle jump are both greatly decreased.
Overall, I could not be more pleased with the fit and finish of this kit not to mention Del-Ton's excellent customer service and professionalism. Thanks Del-Ton, keep up the good work.
