Made by YHM these are the latest free floating forearms . These unique forearms feature diamond shaped heat vents, an extended top rail for gap-free installation, “T” marked rails to mark accessory locations, and anti-rotation screws for secure installation. Made of aluminum and hard coat anodized.

The carbine length is approximately 7 inches, which is long enough to put a laser sight, a combat light, a vertical foregrip and a sling mount on with room to spare. If you have a laser mounted on one side and a light on the other, a couple of ladder type rail covers will protect your hands. The end cap that is available looks great and protects the barrel/gas block/gas tube from debris. This is a very tough and well made forend. YHM makes high quality accessories that are dependable, rugged and they look great.

I mounted this tube on my frankensteinian nightmare project gun and now it looks so much more respectable. Very light, well made and they look great. What more could one ask for?

I upgraded to these handguards when I purchased my M4 Carbine kit from Del-Ton. These handguards are nice and light and look awesome on my rifle.  I added 3 Ergo Grip Rail Covers which makes it easy on the hands while shooting.
