M-4 Kit - Great Buy September 19, 2011 Reviewer: Steve R from Winston-Salem, NC United States   Got my M4 right on time, just like Del-Ton advertised.  Lower kit installed perfectly in an SI Defense lower.  Upper pinned on beautifully.  Shoots well, no complaints (about the del-ton kit anyway).   Have ordered a 20" kit for my other receiver thats just sitting in the safe doing nothing.  So far, a little slow on that one, but we'll see if Del-Ton can pull it together! Great Product! September 11, 2011 Reviewer: Shawn from Vancouver, WA United States   I ordered one of these for my first ar15 builds. The finishing on the upper was perfect. It does come heavily oiled but i suppose thats a good thing because no rust or anything of that sort. The lower parts kit installed exactly as it should with my mp15 s&w lower and the color matches 90%. The lower and upper mated with no play in the receivers. When i took it out to the range i was shooting groups of 1". This is defiantly a quality product but i was skeptical because of the price tag. for a plinker which is what most people do i would reccomend this rifle kit. The flaws were that i ordered the rifle kit and it went on sale for labor day i called and asked if i could change my order and they said NO. Also shipping took forever from the point of when I placed my order online. I will think about ordering from Del-Ton again in the future if I have patients. Was this review helpful to you?

16" M4 Rifle Kit: Chrome lined 1/7 twist August 15, 2011 Reviewer: Regular Guy from South Carolina   I placed the order on 07/01/11 and it was at my front door on 0714/11. Outstanding customer service with Del-Ton Inc.!  Properlyt staked BCG, chrome lined with MPI/HPT Bolt.  I fired approximately 200 rounds of new, brass cased xm193 55gr & SS109 62gr ammo without a hiccup!  Outstanding product, great work Del-Ton Inc.  I will be using Del-Ton Inc. for future purchases. Top notch quality August 13, 2011 Reviewer: AR15 Smitty from Peoria, AZ United States   This was my first build from del-ton and I couldn't be happier. Fit and finish were excellent. Kit comes in a heavy dry packing grease but after removing it and giving a really good oil(synthetic 10w-40) of the internal parts, they are slick and run flawlessly. Performed slow fire and rapid fire test and have had no issues.  Remember to use quality magazines in any ar15 as a poor quality one will account for 85% of malfunctions. The cast parts looked great & the machining was excellent,also everything fit together,very well. Good for its price July 29, 2011 Reviewer: Chris from West richland, WA United States   A good gun for the price, but not one I would depend on for home defense or in any life safety situation.  I have had the gun for about a year now, and have had multiple failures mostly failure to eject and double feeds that were most likely to due to the failure to fully extract.  Most recently while out shooting I couldn’t get even one round to extract.  If you own one of these guns I would recommend replacing the at the very least the extractor spring and adding a extractor spring o ring.  Better yet replace that and the extractor arm or the whole bolt and BCG.  Other than that I really haven’t had any other problems.  I still recommended the upper for a friend and just had him buy a Daniel Defense BCG.  I still would recommend DTI based on price and options but If you’re buying a gun to protect you and yours in a life threatening situation spend the extra couple hundred dollars and buys something tried and true. Zero Failures June 17, 2011 Reviewer: Scott from Oregon   Excellent rifle kit that fit perfectly to a Spikes Tactical lower. Took it out to the woods and put about 200 rounds through it of green tip 5.56 ammo. Zero failures and small groupings on the target. About 6 weeks for delivery but I ordered extras. Well worth the wait and will be using Del-ton again for my next rifle build. Great quality. Was this review helpful to you?
