M-4 Rifle Kit April 27, 2011 Reviewer: Thomas Rodabaugh from Altamonte Springs, FL United States   In all my years of firing M-16s in the military, I have to say this is a far superior product!  Putting the lower together (using a DTI stripped lower) was a breeze. The fit and finish are exellent.  After firing around 500 rounds through it, I have not had one mis-feed or mis-fire.  This rifle seems to really like the XM193 5.56 ammo from Federal.  Aside from my enjoyment of this rifle, I get lots of compliments at the range (hopefully making new customers).  Del-ton makes a fine weapon!  Keep up the great work! Nice rifle April 14, 2011 Reviewer: Tom from Rincon, GA United States   I bought two M-4 kits (his and hers) after reading reviews and doing a lot of internet search. I've got to admit that I was really driven by the affordability of these rifles but after installing battle sights and a NC Star 6 power scope it shoots as good as my buddies Ruger SR556 which was twice as much money.  The magpul magazines are the bomb in this gun. Oh yeah, I built them on CMMG lowers and the fit and match was awesome. Took me 50 minutes for the first one and 30 for the second (I was rusty). Very satisfied customer! Nice rifle kit April 11, 2011 Reviewer: Martin Cowden from McDonald, PA United States   I recieved the kit about 4 weeks after ordering. The rifle had obviously been test fired, there was a small amount of brass on the bolt face and deflector. Factory finish matched well, but I degreased and finished the upper, Stag lower, rail, and some other bits with Duracoat. Assembly was easy, but it was nice to have an extra pair of hands for the pivot detent install. Lined up the BUIS and optic with a laser bore kit, which pretty much put all the settings at Battle Sight zero. The bolt carrier and bolt are a bit tight, so lube is important for the initial break-in period. First rounds were right on point of aim. 16" barrel is definately the way to go, 1/7 twist, chrome lined. Don't try saving a buck and regret it later, just do it right the first time. I'll be purchasing the same kit again, since my sons now both want their own. I wish DT would carry the Knights BUIS(popsicle), making it a one stop experiance. m4 Rifle Kit March 26, 2011 Reviewer: peter bridge from amsterdam, NY United States   received the kit last night, took about 25 minutes to get the lower put together. Took it out to the range today, shoots like a dream, no failures or jams. Shot some pretty nice .30 inch groups with iron sights. I cannot wait till this barrel is fully broken in, this rifle should shoot under 2 MOA at 200 yds all day!!! Was this review helpful to you?
